📍 Location Data for Steamboat Alley Mobile App

Our app collects and uses your device’s location data to provide guided experiences during river and in-town tours. This data is used only while the guided tour feature is active to determine your position and deliver timely visual content relevant to your current location on the route.

Location data may also be collected when the app is running in the background, such as when you briefly switch to another app (e.g., checking email or using a browser), during an active guided tour. This allows us to continue delivering timely and location-relevant content—such as prompts or route information—without requiring you to keep the app constantly on-screen.

When We Collect Location Data

Location data is accessed only when you initiate a guided tour. The app does not collect or track your location in the background when the tour is not active.

We do not share or sell your location data with third parties. Location data is used strictly for providing the features described above and is never stored on our servers.

User Control

You may grant or revoke location access at any time through your device’s system settings. If you choose to deny location access, the guided tour functionality may not work as intended.
